If you hate the smell of gas and oil, and the noise I recommend getting an electric ...good for up to 6-8 inches...just get a long extension cord that can reach to the end of the driveway.

That would be funny to run the electric snowblower from your generator when the power goes out during the next snow storm.

I think we'll go for the generator first (we're all talk at this point). But unless we get a foot of snow, I usually enjoy shoveling (we have just a normal sized drive, walkway and sidewalk).

No, snow blowers are too loud. We had 8 inches and none of my neighbors who have them even bothered to get them out.

Ours worked great, but we are in Loudoun and got 6 inches.

Didn't use it, shoveled by hand.

Wish there was more snow and I could've used it!

I got extra gas to lend it but I am hoping I won't have to open it.

Depends. If there is a bitchy neighbor, you can always snow them in

One or two nice neighbors might be able to borrow the machine, if they play their cards right. They are fun to operate!

np here. If I had a blower, I'd definitely clear the sidewalk around my cul-de-sac after I did my driveway.

Your neighbors are going to hate you when they are out shoveling!
