Go to DSW and get one for +/- $100.00.

Spend the other $900.00on something worthwhile, or just save it.

Try to find a place that sells old Coach, from before it all got outsourced to China. I think the old Bonnie Cashin bags were beautiful.

Can you be more specific as to what you are looking for, what you like aesthetically, etc? (Tote, satchel, shoulder, etc) Some flash sale sites have really good discounts on bags - hautelook.com, myhabit.com, gilt.com

If you like the Coach leather bag, get one. You'll probably also come in around $500 under budget.
