Loiederman in Silver Spring offers a lottery for MS and I believe there are a few options at the HS level. Applications for the 2014-2015 school year were due last fall, but general info should be available on the MCPS website.

I've heard of Duke Ellington HS in DC. What about elementary and middle schools that emphasize performing arts? Are there any public options in MD?
