This is what points plus is for OP! Eat really well all week and use your points for your birthday! As long as you don't consume an entire cake you should be fine.

I was a calorie counter while losing weight, and so understand, OP! I agree with the Capital Grille rec, but if you don't go there you could try looking for a restaurant that has a menu online so you can decide what you're having ahead of time. I frequently selected simple dishes (steak, grilled shrimp, roasted veggies, salad, etc.) and requested they be made without butter, or to have things on the side, etc. as it makes it easier to estimate your calories/points. On the rare, very special occasion when I went to a restaurant where modifications would be absurd (ex. CityZen), I just ate very, very lightly all week (and the day of the meal ate next to nothing) so that I could enjoy the special meal without guilt.

Happy Birthday, and enjoy your dinner out!

Same issue here... and restaurant dishes can be deceptive as they'll cook with a lot of butter and other calorie-laden ingredients.

Seasons52 is a good choice. Also any restaurant with a number of locations, as then they're required by the Obamacare law to post calorie counts (it's voluntary for restaurants with fewer than a certain number of locations). So Capital Grill and the like would post this for sure.

It's your birthday. It happens only once a year. Save your points plus for that night. Go and enjoy. You can estimate the points without knowing the exact nutritional info.

I am doing weight watchers and my birthday is coming up next month. I am a weight watchers member and would like to go to a non chain restaurant for my birthday or an upscale chain like Mortons, Ruth Chris etc.
If anyone has any good recommendations on restaurants in the metro DC area with nutritional info on their website please let me know. Thanks!
