Yes for adults. Not for young kids sake

We loved it last month (kids 3.5 and 2, 4 adults, and a free baby). I've been telling everyone it was worth it, but I love aquariums myself.
The B&O railroad museum is also supposed to be great if you're looking for something in B'more.

Totally worth it. But buy a membership. Much better deal that way. You could even get the family circle for 250. Your whole group will be covered tomorrow and each time you go back you can take 2 guests. We have that level and use it often.

My 4 year old was just as happy going to the Amazonia exhibit at the National Zoo.

I think the Dolphin show was suspended, the last time we went there.
We just went two weeks ago and they have open shows and practice.

We took my daughter when she was three. She loved it and still talks about it. I think this is one of those that depends on the kid!

My son loves animals, so it's always worth it with him. Depends on your kid. Depends if it's actually something the adults want to do. If you are all just going because of the kid, then no. But if you are choosing it as a family activity, yes. Check out the jellies if you go.

Depends on the adults to be honest; with the ratio of 4 adults to 1 kid, most of you are going to be looking at the attractions yourself.
If you, DH or your parents are into it, then it's worth it. If you're all just going to enjoy time with DD and watch her watch the fish, skip it. Or just have one of you take her.
But i feel the same way about port discovery, even more so - no real way for 4 adults to interact with 1 four year old at a museum, park, etc.
We have this issue when my family is in town, so I try to find something that we enjoy as adults as well, and we basically end up taking turns hanging with the kids

Wouldn't it be better to purchase a membership?

Let's see, we brought my son there when he was 3.5. It cost over $120 for the three of us. Here were the highlights for him:
-revolving doors in between each section
-bubbles that float to the top of large tanks
-SCUBA diver feeding the fish lettuce
I'm gonna go with no.

No, not for a 4 yr old. Take them to Port Discovery Children's Museum, also in Baltimore. You'll have much more fun there.

Thinking of taking dd tomorrow (almost 5) with my parents. For the 5 of us tickets are $170. Is it worth it? Just seems kind of outrageously expensive.
