Addie's closes, Republic opens. A door closes, the Goddess opens a window.

+1. We used to go to Addie's for dinner then walk over to Hanks. I miss Addie's but I read a new restaurant is opening there soon.

Addie's is gone! Boo!

And, I am out of it!

Have a friend coming in town in a couple weeks and would like to find somewhere for a Saturday night out for dinner and fun drinks (doesn't have to be the same place, but close to each other if not the same). Something with a good scene or people watching but not so loud that we can't hear our conversation. DC or Bethesda (though I can't think of anything good in Bethesda). Any ideas?
