Ditto for lexapro. It's the best!

I actually lost weight while on lexapro, also when i was on wellbutrin. But maybe the weight-loss was from anxiety and depression and being a parent, not from the meds, I have no way of knowing. In any case my DC is now five and since struggling with PPD and getting various treatments the past 4 years, I weight less than i ever have since I was 15.

Lexapro! Though Most people gain weight simply because their anxiety kept them from eating properly in the first place.

I take Zoloft with Xanax as needed. Zoloft makes some people gain weight, but I've taken it for several months with no weight gain. What I've learned is to get one where weight gain isn't a common side effect and then see if it works for you because results may vary.

I take Wellbutrin. It's not usually the first choice for anxiety meds, but I couldn't handle the side effects of SSRIs and SNRIs. Most people lose just a few pounds on Wellbutrin. I take Xanax as needed too, but I eat a lot when I take it.

There was an increase in anxiety for the first 2 weeks on Wellbutrin. I took Xanax more often to manage it. After the 2 weeks, it has helped a lot with my anxiety.
