But he IS my baby and always will be so I loved all over him because it is a hard age. Who knows what will make they cry?

Someone had mentioned that the needles maybe are bigger at that age-- I hadn't thought of that. Maybe that was the issue. Maybe there is something I can do next time to reduce the pain for him proactively.
