Kate pushed the bitch card first. I don't have 13 year old girls (yet), but even I could have handled them better. They're suddenly thrust in front of a camera, they know millions are watching, and they freeze. A little compassion and grace goes a long way with kids. Saying, "ok, wow- you never shut up and now you freeze when it counts?! (I'm paraphrasing) is a bitch move by a mom IMO.

I'm a PP. I looked at the video again and Kate seems like such a bitch! The way she said "use your words" as if she was a 2 year old throwing a temper tantrum. And clapped her hands I think. I think Kate made the situation worse.

Did anyone actually see this on TV? What happened next?

Really? It's extremely early in the morning, they are teens not actors, and acted a bit awkward. It didn't seem all that bad to me, they just were uncomfortable there and didn't want to say anything. Either they wanted to make their mom look bad, or they were nervous. That's my opinion, at least.

Good for them. TV wrecked their lives, I'm sure they're sick of being in the public eye, but their mother keeps forcing them there.

do they see their dad at all? there was some reference in the article from today show to their father saying they were socially awkward and what not.
