I did it, and it was ok. Not fantastic, but ok. I pulled up and there was no one there. I was like, "Ummm, hello?" I scrambled to find any paperwork I still had and called the # on there, which was like a regional # for Giant. I explained my situation, and she asked what my zip code was and what Giant I was at, and she contacted someone inside the store. About 5 minutes later, some manager came rushing out with keys to unlock the huge locker-things, and then he put everything into my car. It just wasn't as smooth as I would have thought. . .

There's a $20 off coupon for it in the Giant ad in the Post this week. I can't remember which stores the ad covers as they seem to be zoned, but I go to the Wheaton store.

I love it! I use it all the time. You basically drive up at your scheduled time, they load up the truck and you drive off. It takes 30 seconds and you don't even get out of the car. It's basically the same as Peapod only you do the pick up. The only issue I had is that sometimes they don't have the item and you don't know until you get there. But it's usually one thing and not a big deal.

Have you used it? Like it? How does it compare to Peapod (if you know)?

They started this service recently by me. I can't decide if it would be worth it or not. It's free (as opposed to PeaPod), but I'm wondering if they get the orders right, if I'd be sitting outside for ages waiting for them to come out, etc.

Any thoughts?
