They polled the kids in the program and the comments were overwhelming with the fact that too many kids who don't want to be there disrupt those who do. The grade distribution shows plenty of Cs, Ds, and Fs in core subject you would think a STEM program would expect students to excel in.

School Board members will probably reserve spaces for their own kids, like they do re transfers between schools.
