Good concept, good service, but not good soup. I've repeatedly found soupergirl's soups to be bland, totally underseasoned, and unsalted. I am not a salty-food person and am never someone that pours salt over my food, but soupergirl's soups were badly in need of some salt or other seasoning. I've never ordered one of their soups, and finished a container before tossing it.
Soup is really easy to make. But if you're looking to buy, try just asking what the soup of the day is, at some local places, and order take-out. Look on yelp, call and ask if they make their soups fresh and in house. Whole Foods has some great soup. Fresh Market does as well.
They add less salt on purpose. I LOVE it since I don't like salty food. You can always add more salt but can't remove salt from your food. Just add more salt if you wish. IMO, it lets the ingredients shine and shows how tasty the soup can be without tons of salt masking its flavor. Check their label. Souper healthy! And I am not from Souper Girl, just a big fan of theirs.
