I, for one, am hoping my child will never discover Legos. We'll have to find more versatile toys to play with.
My boys, 8 and 6, are the same. That's all they asked for for Christmas and our basement playroom is full of Lego. However, my kids keep the sets up for awhile and then dismantle them and make something new. They are really creative with what they do. I don't even want to know how many Lego pieces total we have and how much we have spent. But there are worse things they could be playing with.
