I love my nephew to pieces but for almost all his gifts I buy and ship direct from the company (or amazon) -- but I also warn my brother so that he knows the gift is arriving unwrapped. It's easier than buying the gift, wrapping it, and then getting to a post office to mail it.
Your nephew is only 1 -- he wouldn't be able to sign and color a card like your kids.
