Juice "cleanses" are so gimmicky. They often cause people to take in way more sugar than necessary, from fruits/vegetables stripped of fiber. And juicies that aren't fresh, but have been sitting on the shelf all day (or longer).
Additionally, "cleanse" is a total misnomer. Eat a week of plants (raw, cooked, solid) for a week, and that would be much better. Include nuts, beans, and whole grains in addition to plenty of fruits and veggies.
Don't do a "juice cleanse" - they're really as much of a crock of shit as "snackwells" was in the 90s.
