Saves the commute, less distractions from people in the office (although maybe more from stuff around the house if you don't have discipline) you can go to the kitchen and make a nice lunch instead of having to pack everything and you can dress casual.

Allowed to telework at interior.

I don't get the benefits of telecommuting. You're cut off from the information flow and you have no external motivation to work, not to mention it being pretty lonely. Unless you have a long commute, I don't get it.

12:14, are they all attorney positions or non-attorney at FDA?

Everyone in my office at FDA up to two days a week (but this varies by office).

I'm the pp from DOI. I wanted to add that we're all telework eligible, just not allowed and don't have signed telework agreements.

Private sector -
Anyone can work from home with 48 hr notice (people were abusing the telework policy previously) and then on snow days/ terrible weather days with no advance notice

No one is my legal office in a govt. agency. It is ridiculous, as much of work is measurable and could be done more efficiently elsewhere (we sit it cubicles).

I'm the OP, my agency is NIH, however every office is different.

Everyone other than admin assistants. Unlimited as you see fit (I do 4 days a week usually).

Can you all identify what agency you work for. Not very helpful if you don't name the agency. Thanks.

Almost everyone is eligible. Some people on PIP's cannot do it though.

In my particular section, most people telework at least one day a PP. Our internal "clients" are in the regional offices so there is no client face time component.

Pretty much everyone but the secretaries and SES in my DOJ component.

I work at Interior and no one is allowed to telework. Not even if there's a blizzard or if you're on bed rest and have to take leave without pay.

Anyone in our office including the admin staff and our SES Director. However, the two admin staff (contractors) only can do it for emergencies like snow days etc.
