So I wouldn't worry about it. I wouldn't worry about the talking thing either. Our DD says some versions of 'granny', 'mama' and 'kitty' and that's about it. And even that is sort of hit or miss. Some kids just do this stuff later.
Ours was like this. At 15 months it was like she decided that there might be some value in walking, but before that, she was a fast crawler and a good cruiser, and I just think she didn't feel the need to walk. Ditto for words--she didn't have any at 12 months. Now at 15 months, she has several words--dog, ball, belly, bye-bye, uh-oh, night-night, diaper, button, more, etc. It can be like a switch is flipped, and they go from none to many almost overnight.
