In the past 56% has been good enough. I do believe they are trying to upgrade their academics though. This year it may be tougher; however, the SSAT score is just one data point. Many other considerations go into the decision.

Looks like it is good enough. Looks like the average at WF is 53%.

It may not be strong enough for Woodberry Forest, but it's a solidly average score.

I was wondering what the current average accepted SSAT score for Woodberry is? It is my son's number one school and he absolutely loves it there. He went for an overnight recently and liked it so much that he asked the admissions director if he could spend another night, which he did! We were a bit worried about our sons SSAT score, he received a 2028, which is the 56 percentile. Woodberry knows of this score, my son also just took the SSAT a week ago and feels extremely confident in his scores this time. He said that there were entirely different questions not even pertaining to the material in his first test, which somewhat worries me for other private school hopefuls, it seems as though it is sort of the luck of the draw for what SSAT test form you receive.
