Op here .Shes allowed quaker chewy bars bc i have the allergy which is easier to manage than a child. We have some "may contains" or "processed on same line" foods in the house but no outright nut products.

Shes very picky and has had weight gain issues since birth. Shes been gaining lately so we want to continue on this track after not gaining anything for a year.

Right now she does apples, carrots, toast w butter, waffles, yogurt/yogurt smoothies, pretzels, triscuits, cheerios, plain pasta, shredded cheese, pizza with white sauce, fruit leather strips, pita and tortilla chips and thats about it. She wont even look at sunbutter or jelly or grilled cheese or mac n cheese or tomato sauce or drink milk.
Counting down the days until she grows out of this and will eat whatever!

It's not bad unless you eat too much.

We like the basic costco brand granola chocolate chip bars. Also, dried fruit, crackers, etc.

Make your own trail mix with some kind of cereal, dried fruit, and sunflower seeds. When I'm feeling nice, I also throw in a few chocolate chips.

We have a nut allergy here too- just curious as to which granola bars she likes? Mine didn't like the Quaker Safe for School granola bars at Target and it is difficult to find peanut allergy safe granola bars.

Hey Op. I'm going to take back this tuna recommendation. Little kids aren't supposed to eat much of that...sorry.

Dried or dehydrated fruit - lots of options at Costco, Trader Joe's, etc

Have you tried Somersaults? Different flavors, some (cocoa, cinnamon) are more kid-friendly. They have seeds but no nuts. Protein and not too much sugar.

I like having a drawer where DD can go pick out a healthy snack on her own. Really helpful for when she wants snack but I'm busy with the baby. We have apples/carrot sticks on hand in the fridge but I was looking to spice up her mix of granola bars and fruit leather strips in the drawer. Any suggestions? We have a nut allergy in the house so we are a nut free home. She hates dips/ sauces so its hard to find good combos/options sometimes!
