I'm skinny and have noticed the dresses I've bought all run small. Quality and sizing will vary because the items come from different designers and labels. The reviews and pictures of real people were helpful.

There are a bunch of plus size dresses on ModCloth. I've always thought they were cute, but since I'm not plus size anymore, I can't speak to quality or fit.

I will say that I've loved everything I've ever purchased there.

The quality depends on the item. One dress I ordered is great, one shirt was horrible and went right back.

Always read the reviews for sizing and quality.

21:46. I agree that the quality is pretty cheap on many of the items. There market is probably more twenty-somethings and my college-age DD who introduced me to it. I've learned to check for the maker, and sometimes I just go right to "Our Deisgners." I like Tracy Reese (US), Leota (NYC), Effie's Heart (San Francisco), Yumi (UK) and Nice Things (Barcelona).

Does anyone have this list for plus size people?

I'm another one who always reads the reviews to get an idea about the fit and sizing. Other things I look for:
(1) Check the "Details" tab to see if it's a fabric you can live with, or are willing to pay that amount for.
(2) If the pattern is tiny, check the closeup carefully. A surprising amount of their stuff has skulls on it, or lemurs (really) or horses or whatnot. This would work if you're a hipster but, if you're a middle-aged professional like me, not so much.
(2) Check the "Details" tab for the length. Very important. For example, I won't buy any dress shorter than 37" so that it's not a mini on me.

Good news is, returns are free if you live in the US.

I'm a huge fan of Modcloth. Part of their "mission" is to fit a variety of women & their styles and sizes reflect that brake a look at their "Style Gallery," where real customers send in photos of themselves wearing what they've bought. I always find the reviews to be very helpful & customer service is awesome. The things I've bought have been great quality, but I really rely in the reviews to point me in the right direction in that regard (as well as fit).

Agree the quality is hit or miss. And the dresses are always too short.

Read the reviews ESP the ones that list the writer's sizes. I think it's pretty hit or miss, but they have great customer service.

How is the quality of their stuff? I've pinned alot on pinterest but haven't ordered yet. Have you looked at the reviews? I think some post real photos and measurements so you might get a better idea there too!

I'm a size 2X, or 18-20. Some of the stuff from ModCloth looks kind of cute. Do any fellow fatties shop there?

I'd like to get an idea of how their clothing sizes run, and quality of products.

Thanks!
