Go to surf camp. Seriously. I totally got my groove back (not from a divorce but just from a really tough year) during a 5-day surf and yoga camp. When I wasn't surfing or yoga-ing, I was lying by the pool (with a swim-up bar) or hanging with the other people at camp. And the zip-line was amazing.

I can recommend the one I did - Costa Rica Surf Adventures (Tamarindo), but I've also heard good things about Puravida.

Keep telling yourself this, every morning, in the mirror...

What about a women's only yoga/surf retreat! Friends of mine did this and loved it.

After over 25 years, looks like DH is leaving. We've done therapy as a couple, etc., etc. I would like to jump start my new life with a sort of emotional cleanse, so wonder if anybody has suggestions for where to go for maybe a week to figure out how to deal with the negative emotions, take a positive outlook about the future. (I know weight loss places do this sort of thing for people trying to shed a lot of physical baggage, so this would be an equivalent.) Any ideas?
