Subject: What did your pre-school child score on his Wppsi test?
Seems to me that WPSII results should be interpreted opposite IQ tests were a score of 150+ would land your child in the 1% range. As it stands, a score of 99% appears to land you right along with everyone else (as in 99% of test population)

I don't know - either 97th or 99th, can't recall. I lost my job and private school is not an option now, so doesn't matter.

1954, why was your 7 year old tested with the Wppsi? The WISC is typically used for that age.

7 yr old should not be taking the WPPSI - should be taking the WISC test at that age...

OP, why are you having a debate? Just curious.
Have a 10 + 9 y.o. - oldest scored 98.9 and youngest scored 99.9. Processing scores fairly good, but not amazing. Can't remember those scores.
OP, I thought the scores were mind-blowing. Then I sat with Google for an hour and realized that the WPPSI is only a snapshot of a very young child. One test, one morning for a preschooler. The scores are high, but what they mean over the arcs of each DC's life is still unknown.
Good luck with the process.

Please no snark or fighting! My husband and I are having a debate on this and I wanted to hear how old your child is and what did he/she score on the Wppsi test. Seriously fellow DCUM users no need to be mean to each other or me in this post.
