1.5 pages at the max OP. People just don't want to read all that shit. When you get to the interview, you can tell them about all the other jobs you left off the resume.

Even dogie houser doesn't need a two page resume. He should have enough impressive stuff to say on page one.

HR Bitch here: something is wrong if you have only been in the work force less than a decade and your resume is over two pages. Maybe if you were an honest to goodness child prodigy like Doogie Houser?

It's not three full pages, but rather two with a hanging sentence or two. My resume has always gotten me jobs so I don't plan to shorten it too much, but I'm thinking this old job may be overkill so I'll remove it.

Yes OP - take it off NOW. And if you have a lot of relevant jobs with short tenure, I would consolidate the following way:

Project Manager - 2005-2008 - Lead Project Manager supporting various corporations in the Aerospace industry, Duties included.......

I graduated 25 years ago and have a 1.5 page resume mainly because I have 22 years of direct experience in my field in my agency and when I'm applying for new jobs (like I have the past couple of months) my experience at this agency is definitely relevant. When I apply for jobs outside my agency, I cut out the older experience and have it down to one page.

OP--you definitely need to cut out a lot more than just that first job out of college. When I'm hiring, I rarely go more than two pages unless you are a PhD or have a long list of published works. If it's on the third page, I would bet that over 60% of those reviewing you for jobs will not see it.

I graduated in 06 and have held a few jobs since then. I'm thinking of deleting my first job out of college because I only worked there for one year and it's totally unrelated to my current year plus my resume is reaching three pages with this job. Does this make sense or will employers assume I was unemployed?
