I assume what OP is saying is that we shouldn't believe the hype that curriculum 2.0 is simply a curriculum based upon the common core. I think the trent toward common core is the excuse for MCPS to push curriculum 2.0 on our kids. Curriculum 2.0 is all about Pearson Education (the publisher) creating its own curriculum to seek than it is about the common core. Unfortunately MCPS has been far too entwined with Pearson for years and its horrible curriculum has been foisted on our kids.

Common Core is a list of objectives/standards students should be able to master by the end of each grade level.

Common Core is not a curriculum; it is not "worksheets", and it is, of course, not whatever 2.0 is.

Anyone can create a worksheet and say it is "Common Core Aligned" but that does not mean that the skills on the worksheet are necessarily what is called for by the common core objective.

OP, your post is difficult to understand. Not sure what you mean by "2.0=Common Core..." or your last sentence, "I don't work for the county think a lot of 2.0 is crazy."

Can you re-phrase?

Please tell me you're staying away from the language arts components.

I went online looking for worksheets to help my kids and came across websites saying that worksheets were aligned to common core. I live in MOCo and have heard so bad things about it I would recommend any parent who thinks 2.0=Common Core to google and get sample worksheets aligned by grade. I don't work for the county think a lot of 2.0 is crazy.
