I truly love my job. It provides enough money to fill the gap and it allows a schedule that works for my family and lets me spend a lot of time with my own kids...but I can definitely relate to the salary envy.
You're only working to "fill a gap," as I'm assuming your spouse is making more. I'd say that's pretty lucky, no?
FWIW, you should be paid more for what you do.
