LOVE St. Anne.

I agree - wonderful church in every respect.

The rector at St Anne's in Reston married me, and I still think of his homily from time to time. Very spot-on - and we're heading to 15 years of marriage. Also heard him give a eulogy last week, he was incredible at that too. Great guy.

I attend St Columba's so can't say more about St Anne's, but I hear great things from him too!

I haven't been under the current rector, but Christ Church on G st SE has historically been pretty liberal (e.g. former rector shared rectory with her wife).

We love St. Columba's -- wonderful music and kids' programs, a strong commitment to outreach and a warm community. I've also heard great things about St. Mark's, St. John's Norwood (just over the DC line in CC, MD) and St. Margaret's.

St Mark's sermon on Xmas eve said Christmas story like a fairy tale.

St. Columba's in Tenley is great; so is St. John's Norwood just over the DC line in Chevy Chase.
