Not a food snob. But Pei Wei is, at best, inconsistent and on any given night will serve up slop that is simply not edible. I suspect it is a function of having too many people in the kitchen who cannot follow written instructions.

Love PeiWei. Get the sauce in the side. Lots of veggie options and brown rice. I wish they did a veg version of PF's lettuce wraps.

Horrible food. Went once and will never go back.

Pei Wei has the best napkins, no kidding! Super thick and sturdy. And an endless supply of fortune cookies. Food is a little over-priced and small servings.

Noodles and Co is such a disappointment. I never thought noodles could be bad in any type of cuisine- proven wrong my Noodles and Co!

Yeah, Noodles isn't great, but it's edible. The stuff I had at Pei Wei was not edible at all. I love spicy Thai and Malay food but this just was nasty beyond belief. I covered it up with a napkin and ducked out because I knew it would be one of these places where they make the servers ask if everything is "great," but won't do anything if you say it was literally one of the worst meals you'd ever eaten.

I don't think it's good, either, OP. My family and I went there once a few years ago and we won't go back.

Pei Wei is a huge success round the country. It's PF Changs' fast food son. I love their edamame and pad Thai. All that I've been around are always crowded so I'm sure it will not go out of business in the near future.

Went to this Pei Wei fusion place on Connecticut in Dupont tonight. It was so terrible it defies description. Why are these types of places sprouting up so frequently in DC now? It's like there is some type of inversion taking place, where all the good cheap restaurants end up in strip malls in suburbs like Rockville and Falls Church and DC gets shopping mall cuisine. Hope this place goes out of business soon.
