I am on the fence on this. I work so I think it's a great opportunity to spend time with my child. We have a great time and do a lot of fun stuff. But at the same time I wish that she was at school for one or two of the days so I could have time to myself for more than an hour or so. I rarely take time off work and since I have managed to take some off this December, I wish I could have a 6 hour stretch to just lay low, watch TV or lounge.

It is perfect! I wish every year had at least two full weeks.

We are having a wonderful time with iur kids.

I am so happy for the time with my child. It's a great break in the middle of the year. I don't believe school exists to fulfill my daycare/work needs. Those are separate issues.

This is my issue with it. School until 6/20 is silly; classrooms are more productive in January than in June.

I hate school breaks. I don't get work breaks, and my budget is so slim that paying for child care is a total bitch. And school breaks don't mean I get to spend any extra time with dd at all.
