We are going over to a friend's house for Mexican tonight and having enchiladas as well. Her husband is Mexican-American. I just made "Mexican Mocha Crinkle" cookies for dessert.

Chateaubriand, grilled asparagus (wife nixed the bacon wrap), seasoned fingerling potatoes baked with olive oil, spinach salad with sesame vinaigrette, and a bottle of Rhone blend (haven't picked one yet).

We live out of DC but are going to an earlier Mexican dinner (place closes at 6) or I am making veggie lasagna with a salad. Depends how the day goes. We have 3 kids, 1 mom and dad, plus 2 grandmas, 1 grandpa and 2 aunts in attendence.

We're taking the kids (5 and 9) to The Melting Pot. We think they're going to love it!

Steak tips marinated in Ken's Italian Dressing, baked garlic/Parmesan mashed potatoes, green beans, lots of Christmas cookies, and some yummy wine. Then DS (2) will go to bed and DH and I will set up some of his toys/get his stocking ready, and then relax with bourbon (DH) and dirty martinis (me) while we wait for my parents and brother to come. Brother coming in from out of state, parents coming in from one of their friend's dinner parties.

Well it's Christmas Eve and I have no plan for dinner. It's just us and our kids so it doesn't have to be anything fancy. I'm just curious what my fellow foodies are doing for dinner tonight.
