College for one, school tuition for the other 2, and daycare for the little one.

This is the first time that I might get a substantial bonus. Most will go into the bank to finally build a 'real' emergency savings stash. Also looking at some home improvements if there is enough.

We used about half of my husband's for new IPads, the rest just went into our checking account. Could probably say it paid for the rest of our Christmas presents- but we would have bought those even if no bonus, so I guess it's going into savings.

I got a time off award which will mean slightly more of my maternity leave will be paid next year. So I guess that's kind of like adding to savings too.

So many things I could do with it, going to bank it until I decide. My emergency fund is very low. I also need a new car, the one I have is very old and costing me too much in repairs.

Bank it. Emergency funds are more important to me than things I want right now.

I don't think I'm getting one this year. If I were to get one though, I would use it for the new laptop I need, and the new duvet cover I want rather than the cheap Ikea one.

I wish I was in a place to bank it all.

Last year I used it to pay off Christmas bills ($250), do a tiny home repair project ($300), and make the suggested donation to my kid's public school ($400).

This year it's smaller, so I will just make the suggested donation.

Do you treat yourself, use it on large one-time expenses, bank it all, or what?
