I do the French toast casserole too, but I make it with eggnog and a little nutmeg instead of regular milk and cinnamon in the beaten egg mixture. Add a huge fruit salad, maple or brown sugar bacon (applewood bacon with a drizzle of syrup or sprinkle of b sugar before baking), and plenty of coffee and oj.

overnight french toast--you put it together the night before and stick it in the oven.

In the morning, you can take the french toast out of the fridge and let it come to room temperature while you cook up some bacon first in the oven: http://culinaryarts.about.com/od/breakfastcookery/ht/bacon.htm

You adjust the oven temp as necessary and keep the bacon wrapped in foil to stay warm while the french toast cooks.

fresh fruit, greek yogurt on the side as well and you're set
