We went to Blackie's once and had a great Christmas meal but I've heard they closed or moved..Ritz Carlton is typically great service & good food.

Beware of Normadie Farms on a holiday. We went there on Thanksgiving in 2011, and they were completely overbooked. We had to wait over an hour for our table (with reservation). I have never seen their lobby so crowded.

We went to the Ritz Carlton at Tyson's for Christmas that same year, and it was very nice and festive.

How would either Of those places be with 2 boys, one of whom is 4yo and still a real handful? Thanks!

I delayed on this last year and prime times do book up, so definitely make a reservation where ever you decide to go. Chinese places tend to be insanely busy on this day too. We're Catholic but have zero local family, so every year I have this dilemma about what to do.

Asian + kosher restaurants are open

Don't feel like cooking this year, and still tired from all the work over Thanksgiving.
