True, but an electric pump is required to "draw" the heat. The pump circulates water through a closed loop, it doesn't just happen magically.

It might mean that oil is supplemental when the geo thermal isn't warm enough. Kind of like when you have a heatpump with electric strips when it gets too cold.

It means whoever wrote the brokerbabble has no idea what he or she is talking about. The power behind geothermal heat is electric. It might mean there is an old oil fired boiler or something. Who knows. I think it means the listing agent is a moron.
