via is pretty good. you can get it at costco, and it was on sale last week. but it is still more expensive than say, trader joes. but it is decent and strong.

I was going to suggest a keurig too...but I wonder how many office mates will become your best buddy if you do?

My husband got a desktop Keurig which suits him just fine. I have an electric kettle and alternate between Medaglia D'Oro instant espresso and herbal tea.

I use Taster's Choice.

For instant, I use VIA. Maybe it's cheaper at the grocery store?

We recently got one of those pour over filter coffee things, which is simpler than it sounds (and tastes better than via). All you need is the cone-shaped dripper, paper filters and ground coffee. As long as you have hot water, you can put the dripper directly onto your mug and pour yourself a fresh cup. Then just rinse the dripper, and throw out the paper filter and grounds when you're done.

I have a one-year old and our lunches to carry in the mornings, maybe once he's a bit older and able to walk unassisted, that's an option.

It's hard to find, and you probably have to order it online, but BuenDia by Juan Valdez is very good.
