i would only have someone who knows what they are doing sharpen my skates. those temporary rinks will ruin them.

Correction from Georgetown: "I'm sorry but I seem to have gotten the information wrong about sharpening skates. This year management has made the decision not to sharpen customer skates -- we are only sharpening our own rental skates this season ... Sorry for the confusion!!!"

Cabin john, wheaton, rockville all sharpen at the rink. Total hockey. Reuse sports in rockville.

Answer fr Georgetown: "Yes, we do sharpen skates -- it's $7 per pair. If you want to have them sharpened and then use them directly after, I would call ahead to make sure we have someone who is able to sharpen working that day. You are also more than welcome to drop them off, we can sharpen them and call you when they are ready for pick up."

I've had skates sharpened at the rink in Cabin John.

Answer from sculpture garden: "not for the public, just for our own rental skates sorry. Kettler Capitals Iceplex in the Balston Mall in VA does a fine job, on the spot as well."

Anyone know if you can get your skates sharpened at the our door ice rinks in DC? Sculpture Garden? Georgetown?
