You have never met my family and friends.
They love to eat.
My family frowns upon events where only 1 type of meat is served.
When they have home parties-there is always 4 main meat choices.

Yup. I was a guest at a party at Maggiano's and the hosts took the untouched leftovers with them. No one thought it was weird.

My guess is that OP's referring to the self-serve chicken parm and pasta.

OP, it's probably fine.

LOL NO, only the stuff that is on a platter in the middle of the table for people to help themselves to a piece of.
The individual plated serving-yuck no.

Obviously she is saying only the untouched leftovers...not sure why you'd think otherwise.

If you paid for them, you should get to keep them. Plain and simple.

I am hosting 40 people at a restaurant tomorrow. There is a menu that offers choices of appetizer, main, dessert. Then in addition to that I am having veal/chicken parm and extra pasta bowls on the table for people to grab.
Primarily because I have an insane need to make sure there is enough food. I know this is overkill.

My question: I know there will be left overs. Would it be weird for me to ask them to put the leftovers in a doggie bag?
Each piece of meat is $10 extra. But they cut it in half.

Its an Italian Restaurant.
