I agree. DCUM isn't the friendliest of places and there's a big difference between being a troll and simply a nasty but valid question.

The person always chimes in with the comment. No matter what is posted and ONLY to posts by "mom" vs "dad"
If they have a valid point they can start a thread, I think. Granted it might be ignored.

Are you the OP of that thread? If so, you should identify yourself as such. Just because someone hurt your feelings doesn't make them a troll. (And no, I'm not the alleged troll -- just a bystander who is confused by this complaint).

I am OP of that thread. The comment did not bother me one IOTA as I would never put my specifics down. I just put enough down to get an answer.
Your comment doesn't answer the question. Only Jeff can answer if that IP address always says the same thing to all the "mom" questions

Well, you managed to get the comment deleted anyway. I hope you feel a sense of shame about that.

The OP didn't get the comment deleted. She says right there in the text that you quoted that the post didn't bother her. You should feel shame for making such a big deal out of this.

As for the question in the original post of this thread, I noted the IP address of the post in question, removed the post, and promptly was interrupted and forgot about the entire thing until just now. So, I have no idea of the poster of the comment is a troll. However, the post was pretty rude and not relevant to the discussion. There are several reasons that someone might need money, only one of which is moving to an unaffordable city. It was presumptuous of the poster to not only assume that was the reason, but to post in an accusatory manner. The Special Needs forum is not Off-Topic or Politics, and posters should try to be a bit more supportive.

Is the poster on 12/5 at 2114 of this thread a routine troll? http://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/347441.page
