Single mom here too. Borrowed $10,000 from my parents and bought a condo in LA for $200,00. Sold it two years later for $399,000. Used most of that for down payment.

Includes everything. I paid $396,000 but I put down over $100,000 bc I sold a condo on the west coast prior. Currently only owe $260,000 or something like that.

Oh nice, thanks for sharing. I could never have a big down payment like that unless i saved foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrrr (single mom)
