DH is a junior level in house attorney (4yrs exp when hired) and makes 70k pus bonus and awesome benefits. Low base but other stuff makes up for it.

Sounds low. I'd expect to be above $150k at least.

I'm a 7th year associate at a law firm and make over $200k now. The benefits are OK--401k matching and a small profit sharing into the 401k. The work life balance should be better, the commute about the same.

I haven't seen salaries in the 170s anywhere.... but I'd love one of those positions.

Low. 170's plus 15 to 25 percent bonus is typical.

Sounds average. In house bonuses have been shrinking for years.

i have 7 years experience, and the company is national, but this office is in Arlington.

My potential bonus is capped 20% of my salary if i meet targets. Not great.

based on my DH's in-house experience, this is typical. down the road your bonuses may be amazing, though…usually my DH's bonus doubles or triples his salary.
