thanks. I actually will use it to put hand crushed mulling spices in for mulled cider and wine. You can also use it to stain cinnamin in gingerale punch

Try the Ingenuitea tea strainer. It's so cool for loose tea! Amazon carries them.

Wegmans sells a little mesh basket by their "nice" teas. It fits inside the top of a mug and has plenty of space for the leaves to expand, which is want you want. Under five bucks.

I used to be able to find these in the supermarket gadget section or sometimes the Tea/Coffee aisle. I am looking for a simple tea ball that you dunk the loose tea leaves into the hot water to make loose tea.

Nothing outrageously priced as I have a habit of misplacing these periodically.
