you don't have to refrigerate apple pie. you can even leave it out tonight.

OP here. Thanks for the quick responses. I'm going to go get myself a slice of pie! It's salted caramel apple pie, so it would have been tragic to throw it out.

I've seen people leave pies out for several days without them going bad. I probably wouldn't even think to refrigerate an apple pie.

I wish I could blame DH, but it's totally my fault. After a late night piece of leftover apple pie, I left the rest of the pie sitting out on the counter. It stayed out for about 10 hours. It is ridiculously delicious so I would hate to throw it away, but is it still safe to eat?
