+1. Pour it in a coffee can or glass jar with lid, toss it out with the trash. If it's a small amount in a pan I'll wipe it away with a paper towel. As long as it doesn't go down the sink drain, it's all good.
Do NOT pour hot grease into a glass jar--it could smash into pieces if the temperature of the glass is cold enough.
Pour it into a used tin can, stick it in the fridge or freezer to harden up. Dump it in the trash the morning of or day b/f. Make sure your trash can has a tight fitting lid, so you don't attract critters.
