OP here. Thanks everyone.

Current income is 140K, but that is for last 2 years, was making around 100K for the most part over last 10 years which is the number of years I have been deferring, and always deferred 10%

34, $35K btw DH and I. $110K HHI.

I'm 40 and single with $390k.

34. 115-ish.

40, $50K in Ira
Spouse is 42, $150K in Ira, $25K in 401K

39 yo 36,000 so far in IRA. Late start, unfortunately.

39. 11K.

In the last three years we've managed about $150k. I'm actually hoping for a promotion that gets my access to a deferred comp plan.

We'll have about that much at 40. We only maxed out employer matching until late 30s. 401ks are about 1/3 or 1/4 of total savings (not including home equity).

We're 43 and 45 and have about 600k total.

I'm 42 and DH is 46. We each have about $200k but DH also have about $500k in a deferred comp plan.

At 40 yrs of age, how much do you have in your 401K accounts? What about your spouse?

We have around 150K each, and from what I read everyday in DCUM that is way too low.
