Don't bother Jeff unless it is really important. Like my mother said, "Unless you are bleeding or dead...."

Oh come on! Take responsibility for your words. You threw the word "theory" out there. It is commonly associated with "conspiracy theory." If that was not your intent, you might have titled your post " I'm curious about the thinking behind..." Or "Can someone tell me why..."

I think you're overreacting to Jeff's response because he picked up on your undertone.

Here is the part of this conspiracy that will really blow your mind: I didn't move either thread. Each thread is in the forum in which the poster posted it.

There is one very basic truth behind all moved threads on DCUM: I have to know about it in order to move it. There are two means through which I am likely to learn about a thread's existence: 1) I see it myself; or 2) someone reports it. I was not very active on DCUM yesterday given that it was a Saturday and I actually found something else to do -- shocking though that may be. Until this post, nobody had brought either of those two threads to my attention. It remains a bit of a judgement call whether questions about where to buy items of religious significance -- whether it be Jewish dreidels or pagan trees -- belong in the religion forum.

I notice there is now a Hanukkah thread in off-topic. What do you suggest that I do with that?
