I pull my chicken out and let it rest for an hour to get to room temperature. 2 hours is absolutely fine.

Totally fine unless it was 100 degrees in your kitchen or something.

Totally fine. First, you would have noticed if it was bad by the smell, and second, lots of recipes ask you to bring meat to room temperature before cooking.

You're going to cook it?! It is fine unless it smells disgusting. Like PP above says, there is no mistaking that oder.

I believe that 2 hours or less is considered safe.

Totally forgot about it while multi-tasking, ugh!
It's 1.5. lbs thin chicken breast, in its package.
I think it was out about an hour after I got home from the grocery store, but it may have been 1.5 hours.
As soon as I realized what I had done I prepared it and baked it in the oven at 350 degrees.
Would you eat it? It's for the kids, not me. I am too spacey today!!
