Thank you PP that's just what I was looking for. I even asked in pet stores and they acted like it was a dumb question.

OP here- The problem isn't the bowls. It's that he dunks his head in them. They are just too big. We've tried cutting a hole in Tupperware lids for him to just stick his snout through, but would like something more permanent.

We have a metal stand that his food is on that we bolted to the wall. That way he can't throw his bowls around the kitchen.

My German Shepherd literally throws his food and water bowls at me if they get empty. Ass-dog. I would love to find a bowl that he couldn't pick up and toss.

I bought two nice heavyweight ceramic soup bowls from Homegoods and a coordinating plate to put under them, in the colors of my kitchen.

Voila! No more spills. The only sloshes now are from we misfill the water bowl.

All my DH wants for Christmas is a water bowl that my dog can't spill everywhere. I have a little, long haired dog and he sticks his entire head in the bowl. It gets water everywhere and it's gross that the dog always has a wet beard. We've cut the beard short already.

We'd like a water bowl that dog can only get nose and tongue in. Is there such a thing? We've even discussed getting something like a rabbit feeder (the drip bottles) since we know dogs use those when they're transported in planes.

Any help?
