It's a long list dumb dumbs. It's probably including the most popular names in most middle to high income families.

Agree. When it comes to names, this area is exceptionally conservative.

Well I am in a DC moms group and our babies were all born earlier this year. Out of 8 baby names in our group, 4 are on that list, including my childs.

I'd say Barnaby, Ike, Truman, Kitty, Maude and Nell are hipster, not yupster.

Not so sure about Hunter on the boys side or Brooke and Addison for girls, but seems pretty accurate to me other than that.

Since DCUM seems to be somewhat obsessed with name choices and social class, I thought some might find this interesting. The boys' list is below. I'll post the girls' version in a few minutes.
