We are planning to apply to St. Pat's, Beauvoir, and WIS, but when I read about CM I was just blown away. It really is what I am looking for and it kills me that we have almost no chance of sending our child there because of the lottery. -OP

Just have to say as a CMI parent, I love seeing this! The school is amazing, and as someone who went to private school - it is that good.

How awesome is it to have someone asking for a private school that would be similar to a public charter school! Way to go, Creative Minds!

This school looks fabulous http://www.creativemindspcs.org/ but the odds of getting in via lottery are pretty slim. Anyone know of a similar private school with forign language instruction in Spanish and Chinese several days a week, music three times a week, movement incorporated into the day, arts based curriculum, and most importantly a highly collaborative faculty? I have been watching the videos about strong performers and successful reformers in regards to the internationally administered PISA assessment. http://www.pearsonfoundation.org/oecd/index.html It strikes me that teachers collaborating at high levels and mentoring one another is a common thread in a strong school. Might start another PISA thread in the general education forum....
