Hana Tokyo in Alexandria is by far the best hibachi grill we've been too.
They have great sushi too.

Thanks, all. I was thinking hibachi. Will try to see what's around.

They're kind of depressing but some malls have play areas for kids. A 2 1/2 yo would probably appreciate it. Some place to climb etc.

We also sometimes take her to the mall bc she likes to walk around the ll bean store and Barnes and noble. Then we take her up to ride the train by the food court.

Isn't there also a hibachi-type place somewhere within Georgetown University?

Does anyone have ideas? We are in DC but could do near-in VA or MD. It does not have to be something kid-specific, like if there is something like Hibachi that might be interesting to a 2.5 year old? (Has anyone done this with a toddler? Was it fun?) We are just looking for a dinner idea or other early evening activity that would be a bit more fun for him instead of the typical restaurant.

2.5 is too young for bowling right?

Thanks!
