Not an app, but Serious Eats has an amazing Thanksgiving survival guide.

Have not used an app, but did create a list (actually a spreadsheet) loosely based on what I found on MarthaStewart.com and RealSimple.com. I adjusted their lists to what I was actually planning. What items to buy at which store and when (dry goods can be bought early, salad greens as close to Thanksgiving as possible). And one or two dishes per day. Cranberry sauce over the weekend, when to start brining the bird, squash on Tuesday, corn on Wednesday, or something like that.

If you are nerdy like me, a spreadsheet works really well, especially for day-of tasks that are so interdependent for their timing. I had a column for what (take turkey out of fridge, put brussels sprouts in oven, etc), a column for duration, a column for start time and a column for end time. I could then link a start time to the end time of something else. That way if guests were an hour late arriving, i could adjust one cell and have the rest of the items update to keep on track.

Has anyone found one? I'm thinking of something that would help me start a couple days ahead and plan, and then remind me for lady minute stuff...like: Tuesday, begin brining turkey....Thursday, 4 pm, make gravy...etc. Orhas anyone done this in a calendar app or something else? Trying to get organized.
